Transforming business
In 2011, Shona joined Headspace co-founders Rich Pierson and Andy Puddicombe to build the company from the ground up. As COO and employee #2, she led the team, shaped operations, and drove the business through hyper-growth - launching a market-defining health tech platform that grew from 0 to 1 million users in the first few years.
In 2014, she spearheaded the company's transition from London to Silicon Beach, California, taking Headspace global. Scaling through multiple funding rounds to £30M in revenue, she built the team, culture and infrastructure that made meditation mainstream - laying the foundation for what became an award-winning megabrand with 100M+ downloads across 190+ countries and one of the most influential mind health companies in the world.
Empowering Leaders
Today, Shona coaches tenacious, fast-growth leaders, founders and CEOs navigating hyper-growth. Having built a unicorn from the ground up, she knows what it takes to scale teams, operations and culture under pressure - and how to lead through the chaos without losing yourself in the process.
She serves on the boards of Lumenate and Dharma Dr. and speaks internationally on leadership and human potential.
